Isabel is a third year student graduating in May 2023 with a B.A. in Journalism and a minor in Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University. While finishing her senior year of highschool amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, Isabel earned a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training certification through CorePower Yoga at home in Kaneohe, Hawaii. Since then she has also earned a real estate certification from LMU’s Real Estate Society to compliment her experience photographing luxury real estate for a creative marketing company in Hawaii.
Isabel is currently the managing editor of The Lion, a student-run newspaper on campus. She is employed at the Burns Recreation Center as the manager of the personal trainer program and as an ISSA certified personal trainer herself. In total, Isabel manages 20 staff members at both positions.
Beyond her professional experience doing real estate, interior design, and portrait photography, Isabel’s hobby is shooting street photography. From the moment she owned her first camera in the 9th grade, she has taken her camera to 17 countries and has used every travel opportunity to build a portfolio of photographs, many of which are displayed on her website. Isabel has a deep intrinsic understanding of humanity which supplements the photojournalistic skills she employees to connect with people around the world.
